Mouse Nest EEK!

Yesterday I found mouse droppings in the double stroller.  Oh crap there is a mouse in the garage.  Today, I found LOTS of mouse droppings in the VAN. It was when I had to get Nathan from work for lunch so we catiously climbed in avoiding the little black rice.  Luckily there were none on the driver’s seat or the kids seats.  The whole time I was expecting some furry thing to dart out from somewhere and scare me to death causing me to drive through a building and send us to a fiery grave.  Good thing I saw nothing.

During lunch Nathan decides to go out and vacuum up all the poo.  He wondered about the little side hatch in the trunk of the car where we keep the jack and opened it up and found THIS!

and THESE

Good thing he looked, before these guys grew up.

Nathan didn’t want to kill them so he drove to a field and took out the nest and set it down.  He put the mama by the babies who instantly shot through his legs back under the van where Nathan lost sight of her.  So she either got back in the van somehow or just ran off to the other side of the road.  If I find more droppings, we will know where she went.
