Finally a Family Home Evening!

I love a well dressed man

Just had to add that picture on top because I just love it!  We have been horrible at remembering to have FHE.  We were really good for a while when we were doing it with another family before we had to move but then it all went downhill.  Well I finally remembered on a Monday night that it was family night and we did the whole program.  I attempted to play I’m a Child of God on the piano while we all sang, we had a lesson from the nursery book the Moons got us for Christmas last year, and for the activity we got matching tattoos!

Nathan says we are teaching our kids to be heathens.  I say that’s just fine with me as long as we can have FHE while we are doing it.

Adorable. Our trick to remember family home evening is to have soup on the menu every Monday night. We love soup, so having it weekly is heaven for us. And now every time we eat soup, we’re like Pavlov’s dogs — we automatically settle in for FHE afterwards. Seriously. Sometimes we even have FHE twice a week if we eat leftover soup later. It’s my favorite tradition.
